Herbert West

Here’s Herbert West, I know it’s debatable wether or not he is a monster…  but there you go.

The fullsize image is available at my site www.scottra.com

Tiddles

ok, here’s the initial sketch… He’s been lurking in my sketchbook for over a week now as i’ve had various distractions keeping me from finishing him… so hopefully i’ll have time the coloured version before next Monday :)

Tarman

Although it might look to the contrary, these monsters are having a ball! Swinging their antennae and jiggling their tentacles and horns and… such. Won’t you join ‘em?

Chienye, Gorilla From A Distant World

Here’s my first post, all done in Photoshop CS3

Franky (Redux)

That’s Totally A Toupee

gouache

Gouache on cardstock, cut to shape.

Edit: Oops – I meant to schedule this for Monday afternoon – got the date wrong, I guess.

Four Eyes

A quick sketch done with a crayola black felt tip marker. Background added in Photoshop.

One of the biggest advantages to being a monster (besides eating cities and making people pee their pants) is the fact that insults like “Four Eyes” don’t hurt, because it’s true. No wonder monsters are always happy!
