Old Palm Monsters

Oh man, I just dug up some old art I created on a Palm Tungsten E using Handpainter Pro. These date back to 2005. This is one reason I wished the iPhone used a stylus, just can’t do these anymore.

Meltin’ Chucky

My second MM post.  You gotta be nice to your toys…

Frankenbot

Even Frankenstein needs to be preserved. This is one in a series of Amoebots I came up with a while back, half live, half robot. I need to revisit those and color them up!

Robot Protectors

I went back in one of my sketch books and dug up this cool looking Robot (Overlord) Protector. Just a doodle I did one day. The arms will whip out and grab the fleeing masses to be brought back into the protection of the metallic ones and with laser beams out of their eyes they can (incinerate any who oppose them) protect us who need their watchful care.

Green Guy Gets the Girl

gouache painting

Gouache on cardstock, cut to shape. Kind of a Heavy Metal-influenced piece. I was mainly interested in trying to get the translucent, kind-of-slimy skin texture looking right; the little dancing figure he’s holding was pretty much an afterthought.

Tiddles

ok, here’s the initial sketch… He’s been lurking in my sketchbook for over a week now as i’ve had various distractions keeping me from finishing him… so hopefully i’ll have time the coloured version before next Monday :)

That’s Totally A Toupee

gouache

Gouache on cardstock, cut to shape.

Edit: Oops – I meant to schedule this for Monday afternoon – got the date wrong, I guess.

Frankenstein

Here’s my first contribution to MONSTER MONDAY (said in a monster truck announcer voice). A quick sketch of Frankenstein.

Happy Monday!!
