Ogre-ish cartoon monster drawing for this week’s Monster Monday.
I don’t know if this mermaid really falls into the “Monster” category but it is a creature of myth and fantasy so I figured I would share it. I actually created it for as a t-shirt design for a group of ladies that goes to the beach each summer. They call them selves the BeBe’s. They requested a “busty mermaid drinking a tropical drink” and this is what I came up with.

This week I had a little help with my monster. One of my daughters wrote a story about a monster and drew the critter so I told her I would post it here. The title of her story is “The Moster (Monster).” I took her drawing, embellished it a bit and cleaned up her story’s spelling. Hope you all enjoy it.
The Monster
Once there was a mad and bad monster! His name was Herbert. He was a good monster to the monster family, but, not to the humans! Herbert scared those people’s pants off and I mean it most of the people had to wear underwear! The humans got very cold in the winter. Enough about that. Luckily there was a superHero! His name was Maxeman! He took out any monster anyway any place any time. Maxeman will always save the day! He took out his monster buster and shot that monster! The monster was killed! That day would never be forgot!
The end
This week, being Thanksgiving here in the U.S., I took a different spin on the monster. This is Fred. He’s your average everyday guy but he can put away a turkey like nobody’s business. To you and I he doesn’t seem like a monster, but to a turkey…
Have a Happy and safe Thanksgiving.
